About

Lets talk art.

Art is anything you want it to be, the ultimate chameleon. While I do have my likes and dislikes, you will never hear me say “that’s not art” because, to someone, it probably is.

Who am I to judge?

I write about anything I consider art. From photography, paintings and drawings; to food, cinema, foreign cultures and then some.

Ashley’s first encounter with a camera was at her cousin’s wedding and it is safe to say… she was not very good. Determined to take a good photo, Ashley gradually got better. She remained self-taught until 16, when she took a digital photography class in high school. It was there that she learned the ins-and-outs of Photoshop and discovered it is sometimes best to keep things simple. Her favourite forms of photography are landscapes and portraits and her goal is to someday work in Japan.

Ashley’s biggest inspiration is simply the world and all its different forms of art.

Wow, you couldn’t have said it any better! I totally agree with this statement about art. The debate about what art actually is could go on forever.

Oh, I see. Well I’m not really sure, I could use suggestions myself. Mostly I just post links on my Facebook or Myspace page and people click if they want to. Also include lots of tags to do with what you’re writing about in your posts.. that way people who are interested in the topic can easily find your blog. That’s about all I can think of, hope it helps some 🙂

Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate it 🙂

Just wanted to stop by to say thanks so much for following our blog and liking our most recent post about bungy jumping in Japan. Much appreciated! All the very best with your photography endeavours and plans to visit this great country! 🙂

beautiful… keep it up. Japan is beautiful and its a amazingly visual country, unfortunately I have never been there – closest i have traveled is to Korea, South that is 🙂

Canada is also blessed with visually breathtaking places and landmarks. There is a trip I would love to take in the mountain regions of Canada on a motorbike, and create a visual blog of all the things I would capture during the trip.

    Regards,

    Bhuwan

Thank you! South Korea looks amazing too, it’s definitely on my “someday” list 🙂

That is a great idea for an adventure blog. Have you seen the film “One Week”? It’s about a man who embarks on a motorcycle trip across Canada and is filled with beautiful landscapes – though Saskatchewan is much nicer up north (less flat – more green).

Wow, thanks for the movie recommendation, I shall try and get my hands on it soon, as the actually trip to Canada on the bike is a distant dream right now. Have definite plans for bike trip near home first – from New Delhi to Ladakh 🙂

Meanwhile, your blog will be the window to the beauty of the Saskatchewan, do keep updating regularly…

        Regards,

        Bhuwan
